BBAC Attends University Job Fairs and Gives Students the Chance to Win an iPad

BBAC was proud to take part in student job fairs, this month, at three different universities: American University of Beirut (AUB), Lebanese American University (LAU) and Sagesse.

Job fairs provide fantastic opportunities for students and business representatives to exchange ideas and get information. Those students interested in banking and finance were able to talk with BBAC representatives about future prospects with the bank and give indications of their potentials and ambitions.

BBAC values the support of young aspiring minds and wants to assist them at this crucial turning point as they start to think about their future careers.

This year, the bank also offered the chance to win an iPad to students who took pictures for Instagram and used the hashtag #BBACCAREERS. You can search this hashtag or follow BBACBANK on Instagram to check out the entrants, the winner and the bank's activities.

BBAC Supports LeMSIC Fundraising Gala Dinner

BBAC is pleased to announce its support as the main sponsor for the 2015 fundraising gala dinner organized by the Lebanese Medical Students' International Committee (LeMSIC), a non-political, non-profit student-run organization that represents medical students in Lebanon.

This year's gala dinner gathered over 300 physicians, residents, fellows, medical and non-medical students, from different universities and medical institutions in Lebanon, to celebrate LeMSIC’s successful achievements throughout the years and its involvement within medical schools all over the country. The event witnessed the distribution of awards and grants to physicians and students whose motivation, help and work stood out in the last few years.

The annual gala dinner is a major fundraising event that helps in supporting the exchange program that LeMSIC organizes; This program offers LeMSIC members the chance to undergo clinical or research electives in foreign countries.

LeMSIC aims, through different events and activities, at introducing medical students to global health issues, humanitarian ideals and medical ethics. Furthermore, it aspires to empower medical students, motivates them to use their knowledge and capacity for the benefit of society through providing them with the support to do so.

BBAC, Your Caring Bank, and LeMSIC share a common goal, namely the creation of a more prosperous and enriched Lebanon, which cares for its own communities. Along with LeMSIC, BBAC is truly committed to positive action towards a healthier and more caring nation and will take every opportunity to see this goal reached.

BBAC Lines Up Its Activities to Celebrate WOMEN’S MONTH

Stemming from our belief that one day is not enough to show our care and appreciation for all women, BBAC is celebrating WOMEN’S MONTH throughout the whole month of March, in conjunction with the International Women’s Day and Mother’s Day, by presenting a bouquet of exclusive offers on products that are uniquely arranged to suit their tastes and meet their financial and banking needs.

BBAC will also be holding online engagement on facts about women’s achievements, and sharing stories and experiences of world-wide inspiring women, in addition to other activities.

BBAC Joins Hands with War Child to Give Children a Brighter Future

BBAC is proud to have had the chance to support the heart-warming initiative by Friends for War Child, which took place on the 24th of February in Station Beirut, for the first time ever in the Middle East.

War Child, an international NGO, raises funds through music concerts to provide education and psychosocial support for children living in conflict zones. According to UN Refugee Agency, currently, there are approximately 280,000 children of school age that are unregistered in formal education systems in Lebanon.

The revenues of this fundraiser will aim to expand War Child’s network in order to provide more children unable to register at a school with proper education.
