BBAC Participates in Visa’s Big Box Campaign for the Dubai Shopping Festival 2013

BBAC announces its participation in Visa’s "What’s in the Box" promotional campaign for the Dubai Shopping Festival that will take place from January 3 to February 3, 2013.

BBAC Visa cardholders, both debit and credit, will be granted unique opportunities and multiple chances to win an exciting range of prizes by simply using their Visa cards to settle their payments anywhere in Dubai during the festival.

The campaign is focused around a secret grand prize that will be concealed within a giant box at The Dubai Mall with shoppers being invited to guess as to what is on offer throughout the month. Every transaction with any Visa card will entitle cardholders to enter into the main prize draw for the grand prize within the Big Box, which will remain a secret till the end of the festival.

Moreover, daily instant prizes are offered on location at the Visa Big Box in the Star Atrium at The Dubai Mall. Participants may enter by presenting any single sales receipt of AED 200 or more showing that their Visa card was used for an eligible transaction.

There are additional opportunities for Visa cardholders to win prizes during the festival, including:

a) daily prizes for instant winners who successfully play a simple game at the Visa display in The Dubai Mall;
b) entertainment prizes where instant winners are treated to additional and surprising live entertainment;
c) online contests though Instagram and Twitter where people post tweets and pictures regarding the contents of Visa’s big box, along with their guesses as to what is hidden inside; and
d) radio contests which will be held on four separate stations in Dubai.

BBAC rewarded the final round of winners of its one-month Credit Card Holiday Promotion, which has seen 31 lucky credit cardholders double their holiday celebration with an exclusive range of valuable gifts that they won by participating in a daily draw whenever they used their BBAC credit cards between December 1 and December 31, 2012.

BBAC and “Live Lebanon” give more than a 1,000 Christmas gifts
BBAC and “Live Lebanon” give more than a 1,000 Christmas gifts

UNDP’s “Live Lebanon” initiative in partnership with BBAC, with the support of Mrs. Bouran Bouery, the Goodwill Ambassador for Western Europe, distributed gifts across Lebanon to over 1,000 underprivileged kids as well as elderly citizens in celebration of Christmas. The distribution ceremonies took place in several towns and villages all over Lebanon in the presence of BBAC managers and staff from neighboring branches.

From the 20th till the 26th of December, gifts were distributed to many NGOs and civil organizations: Barqa NGO in Bekaa, Sharqieh School in Zahlé, The Tahaddi School in Shatila refugee camp, Rafic Hariri Hospital in Beirut, orphanage of the Welfare Social Development Association in Tripoli, in addition to Al Risala Scout Association in Tyre, as well as the Volunteer Movement for women and girls in Lebanon-YWCA in Hadath, Al-Ishraq School in Aley, Maronite Nursing Home in Furn El Chebbak and finally, in the village of Bkassine.

A grand ceremony was held in Yater Public School in South Lebanon to reveal a swing set “Live Lebanon” had installed in the indoor playground, where tens of kids could play during the winter time.

BBAC and “Live Lebanon” succeeded in spreading holiday cheer this season giving back hope and a sense of caring to the community, especially to those who need it most.
